Born in Renmark. Resides in Nairne, South Australia.
At a young age, playing in the Mallee scrub near my Grandparents’ farm, I developed a strong feeling of belonging to the land.
Intimately involved with the Australian landscape, I now look at it with a new searching for its structures and patterns,
its timeless inner spirit; what lies beneath the surface.
I sometimes use layers of torn paper and layered mixed media to communicate something of its textural richness. Painting for me is both intuitive and spontaneous, an emotional reaction to my connection with what I see uniqueness of the Bush, its colours and features, has been an inspiration for my work.
