Born Nebraska. Resides in Bradbury, South Australia.
The uniqueness of the Bush, its colours and features, has been an inspiration for my work.
Among many places in the Outback, we lived for 10 years in Gwalia, a ghost town in the Western Australian Goldfields, where we established a museum and worked to preserve the town. The old mine dump was a source of materials for sculptures, including a plethora of wood patterns, from which several works were made.
Now, living on an old dairy farm in the Adelaide Hills, where wild kangaroos have replaced the cows, I continue to find inspiration from my surroundings.
