Margie Hooper, PhD
Margie Hooper, PhD (Art history and theory), Master of Design, Grad Dip (Vis Arts), BA (Fine art).
Margie has worked as a visual artist, graphic designer, cartographer and teacher, specialising in life drawing and painting and continues to give guest lectures and short-term classes to students and the broader community.
As a practising artist, Margie exhibits frequently in group shows, developing themes around historical figures and her lived environment.
However, her passion is drawing in all its forms and was the subject of her doctoral thesis.
